Coatbridge – Between The Devil And The Deep Blue Sea

Background

Situated close to the shore of the loch at Drumpellier Country Park is a sheet metal sculpture that depicts a whale’s tail.

The piece of art was originally positioned by the park’s visitor centre. Commissioned and installed in 1986, it was created by artist Neil McLeod and named ‘Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea’.
